FP says Clarus's Bandrowski keen on Lundin, others

2015-01-26 06:53 ET - In the News

See In the News (C-LUN) Lundin Mining Corp

The Financial Post reports in its Saturday, Jan. 24, edition that Clarus Securities analyst Mike Bandrowski believes zinc and nickel have "imminent" upside and will perform very strongly over the next two years as inventories disappear. The Post's unbylined Taking Stock column reports that Mr. Bandrowski says, "We believe the lack of funding in zinc mine development and exploration has now caught up with the marketplace and zinc prices will respond in 2015." Mr. Bandrowski also believes the nickel market is heading toward a deficit this year. The Clarus analyst says, "We see a great opportunity for nickel in 2015." His top stock picks in this space include Lundin Mining ($4.63), Scorpio Mining (21 cents), Aldridge Minerals (18 cents) and Royal Nickel (33 cents). TD Securities analyst Greg Barnes said in the Post on May 23, 2014, that Lundin was one of his top copper picks. Lundin shares were then worth $5.86. TD Securities analysts recommended buying Lundin in the Post on Jan. 15. Lundin shares could then be had for $4.18. The Post's Peter Koven was bullish on Royal Nickel on May 13, 2014. The shares were then worth 68 cents.
