GOODWILL So, I just had to finish my research.
ADG was the main contributor at $195MM out of $216MM purchase price (pp). Most acqns have a 3/4 or so Goodwill element to pp. They keep saying ' expected to be tax deductible' but I see no evidence of that and only adj to goodwill seem to occur when final allocation is made in a subsequent qtr.
These acquns have seen the number of Diagnostic Imaging Facilities increase to 127 in Dec 2020 from Dec numbers of 129 96 74 in Dec 2019 thru 2017, the reduction thru 2020 due to consolidation of services
Their peer competitors include, among others: Radnet, Inc., Alliance Healthcare Services, Inc., SimonMed Imaging LLC and InSight Health Services Corp., so they are going to the front of the herd with this acqn and I have to believe that is a GREAT thing as Alliance management have the skills related to this business which AKU management were 'growing into.'
