Earnings or Cashflow

Hi

I've only been following AD for the past 8 months and with the recent drop I'm thinking of adding a small position to my portfolio.

I'm not that experienced valuating royalty companies and like some assistance.

Should I be valuating them based on Earnings/profits or Cashflow?
