I am a novice investor and have the same problem as many,indicision,but have compiled information to learn that,follow new trends,look at calendar events and watch volatility closely
New trends today are pot,blockchain crytocurrency,but not gold,but gold is in a calendar event cycle,but,it is short term,does not hold a pattern unless there are events to substain the pattern,where new trends substain longer with volatility and gains are better. for gold to have the same effect we need bad news. Pot stocks have made great gains,volatile,but an event that has forward momentum. Indicision with bitcoin 4 years ago,cost me in not participating,but still do not follow the reasoning for the surge. Bloackchain i am in,see the reasoning,Pot,no hesitation,pick forward momentum on ares not covered,yet,gold stocks stocks always seem to come back to the lows with some improvement to that but always appear a calendar event and i am now playing options to invest in this,directing more money to trend cycles,returns are better
