Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:LiUNA

RE:RE:LiUNA benefit plans always have a preferred supplier. This is possible what is happening on the larger union level. LIUNA as a whole is attempting to work with CGC for a bulk deal in cheap prices. The local that has the agreement with Aphria wants to choose Aphria.. This local and the main LIUNA org are probably butting heads. Usually you can buy your script drugs at whatever pharmacy you want...my company prefers we don't use shoppers drug mart but rather an independent... Cheaper on the file charges. It maybe that each local within the LIUNA org. is responsible for its benefits packages. Hard to say without clarification from APH and the local LIUNA.
