Big Pharma is threatened by cannabis companies so they will do whatever it takes. Cannabis also disrupts alcohol and tobacco companies. more pressure to crack down on weed. They can't even get it rescheduled in the states from schedule 1, even though most states and the rest of the world is legalizing it for medicinal use, its a joke down there! . the reason weed was illegal in the first place was based on racism and influence by william Randolph Hearst who wanted to stop the hemp industry, then later further punished by more racism during the Nixon presidency who wanted a way to put hippies and blacks in jail. Even with this info and all the proof that it has medicinal value the feds still refuse to change it. It will take years for the feds to wake the fu(k up and nothing will be done until maybe every state in the US legalizes it. In the mean time expect the US to try to influence everybody to not legalize weed in every way they can. the positive is Canadian mj companies are getting are head start in the world market.
