New Deal with Verve Dynamics Aphria (APH.TO) -- a producer, seller, and supplier of medical cannabis -- said Monday it has entered into deals that form a joint venture, CannInvest Africa, with South African company Verve Group of Companies.
CannInvest will acquire an interest in Verve Dynamics, a licensed producer of medical cannabis extracts in Lesotho, for near $4.1 million, according to a statement. Verve will supply high-grade low-cost cannabis isolates to the African continent and, through Aphria International's distribution network, to markets across the globe.
