Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Atheena, slownsteady78, AGM, Vic's FollyEXACTLY!  Why would he mention those companies by saying, "Everyone has probably heard the rumour that (those two companies) are sniffing around"....classic misdirection and I think it was meant for Christina Pelligrino.  He, as Monteviale was mentioning was directing his attention to that portion of the room.  I'm pretty certain he wants nothing to do with them...however I'm less certain about BAYER.  I think that would be a world class partnership and he does spend a LOT of time in Germany.  I am most hopeful that we get a pharma deal done first and then a JV or minor stake investment by Altria.  That would be a perfect world.  I understand that there can be a negative view on some companies but in the end the entire Pharma space has it's warts.  There is no better partner than pharma if you are looking to maximize your return on investment.  That's why I'm here.  With an investment from pharma the entire marketplace would be affected in a positive way.  It would be a much bigger impetus for the industry.
