Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:JV vs. Take-over

RE:JV vs. Take-overYou have to keep in mind that share value has dropped due to the false short attack, people who run Aphria still has it at a value when Alteria was interested and that value still stands regardless of all the circus that happened. GLTA

If we are to take CRON as an example, Altria only got 38% of stake but if they want majority stake then they have to exercise their option and invest more. Now, wouldnt that make apha take-over bid at $17/share a little too cheap? Just trying to grasp the concept, numbers are out of thin air. Not sure if I am clear enough..
