Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Kept 10 because I believe aphria is a criminal organization with a legal pot company on the side and I thought retail investors would have been smart enough to sell before the stock gets halted.

I didn’t expect the lengths the fraudsters would go to convince the believers. And I didn’t expect the believers would swallow anything in hopes of recouping loses.

Even if the ten remaining put contracts expire worthless in April  they are more than paid for. I’m actually mildly interested in seeing what happens to an ITM put contract if the stock is halted permanently at $8.

Opinions vary. Exchanges differ. TD options advisors don’t even know for sure.
Some say Montreal will cash you out at the last traded price. Others say good luck getting it.

Should be be another lesson in the Aphria saga.
