COVID 19 interactive mapThe northern hemisphere accounts for a majority of COVID 19 cases because it is cooler there and the virus is more prolific as a result.
When the temperature starts to climb it will help to combat the spread and effects of this virus in the hemisphere where most the worlds economic horsepower is.
Obviously social distancing, self quarantine, cancelling mass gatherings and many other measures are a large part of the solution too.
