Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. Just 10 trading days ago (4/15) we traded to $4.30 (hod). Imo we’ll be back in that territory soon, especially if any of the 33M shares that are short realize they made a mistake. Much worse industries to short right now than the growing Marijuana industry that is coming off 2 year lows. Especially with more people using marijuana now more than ever, during Covid-19 while at home. And for shorts to choose one of the fastest growing and profitable Marijuana companies in the world? At this point, with the potential speeding up of legalization to bring in tax revenues for states/fed, sure seems there are better short options out there. Especially considering we are only at $3.80 (off from $17+ couple years ago and less than half of 52 week high).
