HOUSE VOTE US House of Representatives vote to decriminalize marijuana at the federal level
On Friday, the House voted 228-164 to decriminalize marijuana and and expunge nonviolent marijuana-related convictions, marking the first time that either chamber of Congress has endorsed the legalization of cannabis. However, The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act (MORE Act) is not likely to pass in the Republican-led Senate.
