Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:April catalysts are now I play

Thanks CaneIsAbel

Believe it or not I am sitting on about 40 percent cash and  money market (liquid investments) that I can deploy now in the blink of an eye which is more than the 25 percent you mentioned.  That 25 percent you gave is good however I have always been a super conservative investor over the last few years in particular.

I have also learned through years of investing and have also taken my share of painful losses too the 1 important and valuable lesson.   That is that you  "never" make your initial position in any stock 100 percent of the shares you wanted to buy in the first place.  No one can ever time the perfect entry points of the bottom  on any investment.   I like my average cost to date but I am envious of those investors here who rode this stock up and down over the last roughly 3 years.   Those who bought at peak prices and held on threw the malicious and false reports against Aphria down to the roughly $3 price are the real heroes in this stock and this board.  I congratulate all of you for having nerves of steel.  The  price today is something all of you long term holders should be very proud of.    Wow!!!

My guess is the best is still to come for the new Aphria/Tilray merger co.

So many people in this world are not yet aware of this new emerging industry and how so early this now is.

There will come a time when the Cannabis  industry will become a mainstream industry like the alcohol and tobacco industries once were.  I am also sure there was the same kind of scepticism at that time that we have here today.   People look at Cannabis today as something frowned upon to discuss in public or as something to be hidden and enjoyed behind closed doors.

Many people are so far behind the times and have not kept up to date with the sector to realize Cannabis is a "medicinal" approved product that cures life's ailments too.   Education towards the public on the uses of this product is needed too IMO.  People are afraid to discuss this sector in public even today when it has become a form  of legalized medicinal and recreational use in many countries already.   Those remaining countries that have not yet made this a legally regulated product "WILL"  in fact in due time.  "Monkey see and monkey do" mentality is here as all sheep will follow the herd mentality.   When you look at the tax revenues this generates on ancc BC already indebted global world,  money coming in to government coffers seriously outweighs any negative opinion the few remaining public opinions gave on the subject matter.  This is after all the 21'st century and people gave to adjust their ways of thinking of opinions as it won't matter what they think anyways once the mainstream sees the dollars coming in far outweigh the negative consequences.   The same pros and cons were discussed when alcohol and tobacco industries were on the forefront of legalization.  They were obviously legalized and so will Canbabis.  Don't kid yourselves.  Those who get in early and invest here now will enjoy the biggest returns.   Too many people wait until it is federally  legal before they invest here.  Like do they really think there is any chance of this industry not being federally and globally legal??? -  lololo

I lost about $4k on Aurora Cannabis about 2 years ago and told myself I would never invest in this sector again.   When I heard about the malicious reports filed against Aphria by the shorters or manipulated by the tobacco company Altria because Aphria did not want to get bought out by them, I took a second look at this stock and read the messsge boards as well to get a glimpse of what was happening with this stock.    I also read so much information I could get my hands on about this company.
from the internet.

There was a lot of positive information posted and read about Aphria.  There was also a lot of bitterness and angry shareholders on the negative side.  One just needs to do their own due diligence in addition to reading these boards to separate the good and honest and educated posts from the others who are bitter and merciless at having bought or sold at the wrong times.

Bottom line is I think we have the number 1 pick in the Cannabis sector right now in owning Aphria or the soon to be Aphria/Tilray merger.

At 55 years old, even I consider this a 10 year long term holding at my age.  Those of you who are much younger than myself this is a much bigger reason for you all to be buying at such an undervalued price and enjoying your eventual windfall.   For many of you in your late teens, 20's, 30's or even 40's, this could very well be your "retirement stock". The 1 stock to buy and hold and even forget about.  Patience and the "buy and hold"  way of investing still holds true today despite all the people who say they make a few bucks by day trading or flipping stocks in or out and making a few bucks.   People don't realize that you incur fees and commissions and capital gains taxes by trading frequently and those cut into your profits.  You are better off to just buy and hold.  That is what all the greatest investors of our time have done.  (Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, Peter Lynch,  Sir John Templeton, etc etc).

Do your own due diligence before you invest of course to make sure the investment makes sense for your own risk appetite and financial obligations.  This investment may not be right for everyone,  however if anyone who is invested in Aphria today or initiates a position at today's share price of $22.75 cdn,  my analysis and educated estimate is that this share price is much higher than today's share price 1 year from now.   My guess is the share price is higher even the next 3, 6 and 9 months out.

I suggest you each focus your energy on the Aphria stock and pay very close attention to it.   Keep cash on hand and ready to pounce on any sudden and unexpected moves in your favor.   Long term buy and hold "value stocks" with huge tailwinds at their disposal should be on your radar.

This is too easy!

Happy long Easter weekend everyone.

Ron
