Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:A thought on CBD drinks in US

RE:A thought on CBD drinks in USCanopy also released the Martha Stewart line, CBD gummies, flavored oil drops to add to food preperation and also a pet line with chicken flavored oil drops and CBD dog treats. The impressive aspect is they have the ability to advertise the wellness benefits which I would expect would definately help demand.

When it comes to Aphria and Sweetwater CBD drinks I would expect they will be leveraging some of the knowledge developed through the Tilray AB InBev partnership in which they created Everie. It does leave me with some questions of how AB InBev will / may fit into it all as both companies had invested $50 million each into the beverage deal that created Everie. If some of that knowledge is utilized for Sweetwater CBD beverages how will all the pieces come together.

But it turns out that you can get CBD from hemp too in an isolate form which I believe the canopy drinks are using, if I read correctly. Which leads me to this: I would bet money that Irwin and the c-suite are already deep in the works on this with Sweetwater. Yet another catalyst that when announced will keep sending our SP higher so to speak LOL. April and I'm guessing May as well are full of catalysts now. An exciting time to be a shareholder at the beginning of the beginning.
