Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Earnings Are Out!
Yes, Momo, unimpressive indeed.  I saw, and am a little worried, about that "other potential acquisitions".  I say, let's not get ahead of ourselves.  Years ago I was invested in a company called 360 Networks who, although looked promising, got way ahead of itself with acquisitions and ended up becoming insolvent and went bankrupt.  While still maintaining 70% of my investment in Aphria, I can't help being a little concerned about that comment regarding acquisitions. Time will tell.  I have the truck in reverse and am about to 'load 'er up' with the money from the shares I sold in the $30s.  As I was a steadfast 'hold' shareholder for a number of years, I've come to realize that there is more to be made with Aphria stock using a sell and re-buy strategy. ............. with age comes wisdom. There have never been wiser words.

The remaining increase is from transaction costs associated with the acquisition of SweetWater, the proposed business combination with Tilray, other potential acquisitions and one-time litigation costs
