I don’t trust this software firm and I don' trust bnn, but
This stat does not include online sales which went to the moon. I think they want the readers to not notice this. Look at the wording. Here is a quote on the bnn article, According to data provided by Cova Software, single day sales during the unofficial cannabis holiday this week didn't surpass the figure from 2019 FAKE NEWS!!! The data does not indicate that sales did not surpass 2019 holiday sales because the data is based on sales per store, but that there are more store this year than last year. So if sales were 50% less per store on 420 holiday, then if we have double the stores than last years 420 holiday, then we had the same store sales as last years 420 holiday. But we probably have more than twice as many stores as last year, which means store sales are probably WAY up in canada this 420. Online sales have multiplied like crazy as well. Shame on bnn. They are starting to become FAKE NEWS. Were they always reporting fake news. Or did they get worse when taken out by Bloomberg. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/cannabis-canada-4-20-sales-may-have-fallen-by-50-due-to-covid-19-1.1426136
