just when you thought it was over

An anonymous shareholder reports

CAPTIVA VERDE SHAREHOLDER UPDATE

Shareholders of Captiva Verde Industries Ltd. are proposing to all the shareholders of Captiva Verde Industries that the company spin off a new subsidiary of the company and, through a plan of arrangement, issue shares of the new subsidiary on a one-for-one basis, to all the existing shareholders of the company. The shareholders then propose the new subsidiary conduct a proposed new financing by way of a rights offering and file a prospectus with the applicable regulatory authorities, as well as an application for listing on the Canadian Securities Exchange. This cloning of Captiva will allow all the existing shareholders the same and equal rights to participate in a new publicly traded entity that is clean and separate from the affairs of the parent company.

You have got to be kidding me ...more
