RE: What would this do to TiO2 prices?LOL! Scientific  "breakthoughs" are a  dime a dozen  and are announced as often as cancer breakthroughs - and yet people continue to die pretty much as before.  Maybe 1 out of 50 of these discoveries will ever amount to anything and that will be 10 to 20 years down the road. I suspect these kinds of announcements are really for the purpose of justifying their existence and keeping the funding flowing. If anything ever comes of it then it will be too far into the future to matter to us.  

If I sound a little cynical then it's because I'm still waiting for my flying car and my personal jet pack that I was told I would have in the year 2000.
