RE:RE:You forgot ... Best PPG post yet and someone that gets it. But PPG could easily pull the trigger if savings are on the horizon regardless of existing supply arrangements. These SA's days are numbered and perhaps management is waiting for the right time to strike to get the lowest price from the other TiO2 producers.
I called the strategy of RGX scooping up troubled plants worldwide for retrofit last year and happy that management is thinking the right way. If i was in the driver seat, i would look at M&A of struggling smaller TiO2 producers to save the people's jobs (acquire talent+experience) and gain a rolodex.
