Make Argex Bankrupt

I think only solution is make Mazen pay way more than he wants to for Argex or bankrupt it because he thinks to expensive. Besides the debtors that Mazen or his buddies own, need to reach out the other debtors and try to work with them and try to pay them a lot more than Mazen will offer. Lawyer said 2/3 needs to agree to re-structuring. Mazen probably thinks Argex is worth 2-2.5 million because he is willing to put up 1.5 million, legal fees and possibly other expenses. Out of the 1.5 million, not sure how much will he use to pay for salaries and to keep the lights on and what offer he is offering to the debtors. I think someone needs to start a crowd funding site, make Argex Bankrupt and hopefully can raise money through those means to discuss with the debtors. The reason why so many shareholders are pissed because he is using the bankruptcy loophole to get back his company. In the end, going to be really hard to pull this off. Do shareholders, who have been taken to the cleaners what to contribute more on something that will make them feel good, but end result they will lose more money?

IF the tech scales and the patent is approved $1.5M is stealing imo. The Vietnamese and Chinese agreements would be with Argex...not NewCo. They or any other company could easily buy Argex at auction, pay the creditors in full, and $crew Mazen. That seems to be his plan for all of us and everyone else that invested with him. If this goes to court it would be interesting to see what is actually in ...more

Nap, average house in Van is 1.1-1.3 mill. If you had bought 25 years ago, probably 250k-300k. Mortgage 2k month, miss 8 payments, 16k, foreclosure, broke. Argex is 4.8 mil hole, zero revenue since existence, $0 to turn lights on. Enough of spiritual pep talk, only good for religious and get out your votes. Since you say 1.5 mill is steal, then it shouldn't be too hard to raise a competing bid ...more

It should be extended past 30 days at least. Will the patent be approved? They said end of 2QTR so how much longer. What is the patent worth? Management said their numbers were even better than what previous management stated...which was roughly $1000 per ton net a single by-product.  The improvements to the plant design now result in 4 by-products but I don't recall them ever ...more

Yes Nap, exactly right on all counts. I have put in a complaint to both the AMF and the OSB exactly what you are stating. More shareholders need to voice their concerns, It is of my opinion that Mr.Alnaimi and certain directors breached their fiduciary duties amongst other things. Securities Fraud - also known as stock fraud and investment fraud - is a deceptive practice in the stock commodities ...more

Kudos Grandpa, for your efforts and telling it like it is. I would say that 99.9% of the ordinary retail investors here, the people who started and sustained Argex over the years, agree with you and feel your anger and frustration. The little guy, down and kicked in the gut, that's us and if this goes down the way they plan, there is a lot of shame to go around for the powers that be. Protect ...more

Grandpa, the judge will probably laugh at your defence on Argex's releases were vague. Your investing your hard earned money, didn't understand what your read, didn't due your due diligence and decided not to contact Argex to get a better understanding of the releases. Mazen and his cronies are relaxed, sitting pretty and waiting for July 29 to pass. The only way your going to even ...more

None of the releases that I have read stated they had refined their TIO2 to the commercial stage and didn't sign any concrete deals, financing to build any plant to make any money. All release were just talking memorandum of understanding, kinda like just a bunch of friends, who were playing around.
Comment by SGordon on Jul 08, 2019 1:13pm
No but many of last release imply that!! So, a BIG manipulation and mislead here!!

Gordon, China release, hiring engineering company, he added financing at the top of release. No where in the release did it say anything about the terms. As an investor, don't you need to do your due diligence? I assume your an adult. Vietnam release, any idiot can deduce that no company in the right mind will pay out 200 million to build a plant, give you a huge chunk of profits when the tech ...more
