liquidate to who?
arn has some pretty big holders with tomatos on the face.the tax loss or control for a better time is the only option.the former assumes a profit somewhere to write off the loss;the latter big balls and and a bigger wallet.
the biggest losers here are the businesses and people of swan hills proper-once again big badda boom and then poof.
staff retention my boot.have tax bill for options cashed in back in the day no doubt and scale next door with the current resume so hang on dearly.plus,no one will buy the house.
this stuff breaks my heart.not for the make or break fortunes but for the upheavel and loss brought on(investors and locals alike).some of these guys never learn(look at the mess penn west and shoreline and on and on ....left behind).dream dream and bank debt and salesmanship.greed too.
so if the the debs can work a tax angle and get control thru shares then maybe a sale to journey or some such.
and once again try to re-invent the wheel.
