Magino: One of The Highest-Grade Open-Pit Gold Mines

Magino has indeed made the list. If I recall correctly, it’s only been in commercial production for a quarter. Yet, it’s already among the highest-grade open-pit gold mines of scale in Canada. Quite impressive, isn’t it?

The image originates from a presentation by Equinox Gold about the Greenstone project. Let’s not forget that among producers, Magino Gold Mine holds the second position for highest-grade open-pit gold mine in Canada!

The photo contains the highest-grade open-pit gold mines currently in production, arranged from the top to the bottom, starting with the highest grade and ending with the lowest grade:

1. Rainy River
2. Magino
3. Detour Lake
4. Canadian Malartic
5. Dublin Gulch
6. Mt Milligan

Subsequent to the completion of optimization and expansion, Magino Gold is projected to become the 4th largest open-pit gold producer in Canada!

I think the outcomes of the program converting resources to reserves could potentially enhance the reserve grade, which might position Magino as the top highest-grade open-pit gold mine in production in Canada.

Sounds good. My concern is we may be making new 52 week lows, someone knows something?

Well, that hinges on whether the jittery folks start panic selling. Regardless, it will present a superior investment opportunity for knowledgeable investors. I’ve noticed a group of smart individuals on CEO.ca who were purchasing shares with great enthusiasm yesterday. I believe that the savvy investors are capitalizing on the lowest prices, while a small portion of uninformed individuals might ...more

Someone knows something.  If it sounds too good to be true--, gut feeling(oops sorry, not allowed).        Sometimes details, ostensibly shedding light, raw dispassionate analytic factoids can become our master if we immerse daily,  bathing in the inviting warmth of future prospects---Magino beckons so.  Can a deluge of facts and analytics also obscure-- of ...more

i for one welcome the capitulation by some..also i understand because i have been there...makes no sense at vthis point as the finishline is in sight with the strongest runner of the relay-team (present management) having a firm hold of the batton all handoffs completed ( admittedly with some fumbels earlier on in the race) their capitulation is my oppertunity to purchase shares at ha steeply ...more

OK--I am not selling, I hope as everyone does that no horrible financial stunt is perpetrated on us and I still believe that there  an outside chance of recovering about half the investment exists---my capitulation of the day.  Good luck

Psych01, are you pretending to be a shareholder to add credibility to your posts? Your conspiracy theory seems to be based on your prior gut feeling. Magino Gold's net after-tax free cash flows with a gold price at $2k, mill expansion to 17.5 K tpd, and ~4 million ounce gold reserve is $1.2 billion. Your calculations seem to be significantly inaccurate.   Our ancient ancestors, often ...more

Rgo---please try to lighten up.  This board is for entertainment, exchanging views and nothing more.  Relax.  AR is failing, and I hope for your sake that you stop buying for the time being.  People can see through all the hype and pumping-----AR is $.38, no more need be said.  Good luck.  IMO

if youare a shareholder wich i highly doubt i have the following advice for you: sounds like you bought AR at a much higher price your statement says you are hoping to recover at least half your initial investment ill give you a little credit and lets say you bought in at around the $2 mark even with your pessemistic gut feelings you may through your statement feel that AR will get to around $1 ...more

OK---much more than 3000, there you made me sing like a canary, good for you and your insight is uncanny sir---gold star for determining that I am underwater big time with AR.  I will be keeping an open mind and your math re averaging down is indeed helpful, something to think about as we get informtion in March.  Reminder---if someone says they have never been bucked off a horse, they ...more
