The paid advertising feature by artemis was quite interesting in giving the history of how this gold rush started in a pub somewhere in the pilbara .i also found it interesting that someone with some type of license can go onto someone elses tenement and prospect for gold nuggets with a metal detector and presumably pocket the nuggets .I am sure as a practical reality given the size of these tenements you cant police it anyway .On the really good show aussie gold rush they have one episode where people are chased off a lease .
I see overnight that Mcarthur minerals (mms) released some additional info about thier joint venture with artemis and some sampling .The grades reported do not appear to be very impressive and mms stock has not budged today .In these gold rushes and there have been many through the years the devil is in the details which is the grade per ton .Those that get carried away  i think must have been assuming that the grades will be incredible .Time will tell when the actual drilling results come in .I have little doubt that this will be a roller coaster drive and most people who invest in this space will loose money .
Theold timers who have been exploring the Pilbara for 40 years plus must be rubbing thier hands in glee at the money they are making .It has been known that this region of Australia has had gold for 100 years ,its how much that is the issue .Interesting to reflect on why Artemis feels the need to take out advertising in an Aussie newspaper if this discovery is the best thing since sliced bread.

Definitely makes sense to me. It makes sense to keep Artemis MC as low as possible so any takeover bid is as low as possible. And I believe that KL or Novo will take out Artemis. I hope it is sooner rather than later although, if Artemis can somehow get their SP rising, then later is better for my Artemis shares. I just don't think they can move this MC with 550 million shares outstanding.
