Interesting what you discover when you do a little research .The president of northern star resources a major western Australia resource company and gold miner is quoted as saying without naming any names basically that some prospects that are in the Pilbara are being overhyped and don't have very good land positions .he mentions venturex resources as having good prospects (it trades around 1 cent a share) .A true penny stock though 3 Billion shares out . It is quite apparent that amongst the people in the know that there is considerable skepticism about all the hype .Which is why I guess no Major Australian mining company is involved or for that matter any major international mining company like Newmont or Barrick or Agnico.Ignoring facts and opinions does not a good investor make.

You do realise that Northern start resources own 20% of Venturex don't you? I own some VXR shares .
