RE: Re: syncrudeThey are probably looking at upgrading their facilities based on their go-forward drilling. Obviously the 4 wells have done better than planned and this rate the existing facilities could get full with them drilling 1/12 wells/month.
This is onshore with existing pipeline infrastructure. One of the wells looked like a new discovery with good pressure.They may be issues connecting into the current pipelines with the gas coming from depleted gas wells. They will have to upgrade.
I think Argentina has a rainy season starting in October. And i imagine they get a bit of cold down there too (May-July). Otherwise I cant see anything else holding them back. Im sure they are just being prudent and planning ahead.
