You maybe right - the little guys are getting spooked after the last three big dustys. Having talked to the president last year - he was more excited about this one and that is why thay have kept 65.6%.WI They have also managed to get other people on-side too (e.g Dana).
Rumour has it (not conformed)- they are drilling really near the old "8000 BOPD well" and then will drill a sidetrack into the adjacent undrilled fault block. I expect them to test the sidetrack.
They will drill the vertical first and log, then plug it off and come uphole to deviate for the sidetrack. The key thing is to hit a few million bbls in that sidetrack to get threshold reserves IMHO. So they need a test.
If this proves up, they will come back and drill the west part of this prospect IMHO
