And How Does Hugh Fit In?

And How Does Hugh Fit In?And I think we can tie Hugh into this. Other than the recent ACT pp, I don't think I've ever heard of a fund manager going to a company and telling them, I want to buy a big chunk of your shares. Please sell them to me at a premium to the highest price at which your shares have ever traded, and I want warrants as well, but you can set the exchange price at some outrageous premium to the current market price. I figure Hugh would have been anxious to pick up the big chunk of shares because he was suddenly in a rush to move ACT from the farm team to the core. Why? 1. His firm did the analysis of the Oct. 25th press release itself and came up with the conclusion set out today on this board. and/or 2. As part of his DD, the analyst at Research Capital gave Hugh a call in order to trade notes on ACT and discuss its future. Perhaps it was the guy at Research Capital who came up with the Oct. 25th analysis and wanted to run it by Hugh before saying anything publicly and putting his neck on the line with such an aggressive target compared to the targets then on the street. Note that the pp was announced one week after the Oct. 25th news. So we have Hugh concerned that Research Capital is going to put out its report and he'll then be watching the price of ACT run away from him before it gets a chance to get off the farm team. We could be witnessing the biggest move off the farm team since the Leafs last won the Stanley Cup. [For those who weren't Leaf fans in 1967, Punch Imlach used to tease the Canadiens about playing a "Junior B goalie" (Rogie Vachon) during the Stanley Cup finals. Vachon had been brought up from the minors that year to be the Canadiens' back-up goalie and he ended up as their starting goalie for most of the playoffs.]
