RE: Who is going to buy a system?

RE: Who is going to buy a system?not a lot to be said lately but I will say see you later solar. It's been too long a run and you certainly hung in there for the long run. I hope all works out better on the next one.
I did speak with Peter Gimon yesterday and there haven't been any new system sales but the sales for servicing the 9 or 10 clients we do have is continuing. With no new sales our cash burn is slowing down and we are able to hold our position in the short term. As Peter said, some are betting we are going down but that is not the case short term. Longer term we do have a cash situation that will have to be dealt with in the new year.
Consolidation was brought up and if we are under .05 we will have to do one but that isn't written in stone yet. There are other financing situations that can be looked at.
A couple positives I took from Peter's call are...
With the cash burn slowing down and the sales from existing clients means much better margins for Act.
The other is he's hinting that cash flow positive seems to be possible. We aren't buying more inventory and we're conserving cash. The sales have very little costs associated with them as most installations can be completed by the mines themselves.
Act is also creating a newer, low cost version that will help them compete against the leaky feeder/cheaper versions of wireless C&T. This may help them acquire clients that won't look at the expensive systems when they are attempting to only achieve Miner Act compatibility.
Lastly, with China looking for more coal to continue their growth, many old mines are being reopened and most of these have no communications at all. Act hopes to catch some of these 50 mines that will need to start from zero. This will be over the next year or so.
