I don’t mind inquiring again with the securities commission, and hearing what the scoop is this time on their end.. I remember the gentleman I spoke with had to do a little digging, but then called me back with an instrument or policy # for my broker (TD) to reference..

I have both a usd $ tfsa and cad $ tfsa account, so about an hour or two after I called my broker, the on duty manager at TD called me back and said no problem we can transfer your shares over and execute a sale order on your behalf. The broker had to do it on their end, which isn’t a big deal, just give them the price you want, and wait for it to fill.
