RE: From the Movie....He's back!
RE: From the Movie....He's back!"Some more to the point and conducive to morale and productivity than others , devoid of the inclusion of superfluous negative connotations."
I was simply going to say "six of one, half a dozen of the other" but now I feel compelled to respond in more detail. 'Tis true Waldi, you are far more diplomatic and less critical of those who you trust your money to than I am. I expect action, clarity of communication and accountability from companies I put my hard earned pesos into. Typically I consider the CEO to be unltimately responsible for the performance of their company.
Competency to perform one's role is paramount to ensuring a successful operation. There's nothing emotive about my use of the term competency - it's simply the combination of one's skills, experience and education. There's no doubt the man is good at what he does - and now he's in the right position for his skillset/experience/education.
A great engineer is not necessarily a great CEO, nor is a great CEO necessarily a great engineer. The board made their decision and I'm guessing their language was far more similar to mine than it was to your's.
BTW - there's nothing superfluous in my post. Nor is it overly negative. The man is now holding a lesser position where his talents will shine.
It is a position with less responsibility right?
He has the competency to perform the engineering consultancy role he is now in right?
The company's performance to date has left a little to be desired in the realm of investor communication, financing, and permitting right? Would you hold the CEO responsible for that?
