Naked shorts on Avicanna
Did the parties shorting Avicanna (Naked Shorts) all covered by now. Guess it was a good call to short from over 1 buck and cover here. What disturbs me the most is that the Founder who was fired would have known this and yet he gave the acess to his cheap shares at current levels..Could he have been a part of this and over the years was allowing this to happen and the fact he had these shares he could have given them to the guys shorting the stock. In essence he was providing a back stop.I wonder if the Securities exchange could look into this.If there was any collusion this guy should be put in jail .This is so troubling that he would do this especially the halt that the company had to go through by the exchange..Guess we will have to ask the OSC about this..Not sure why a Founder would do this especially as the company hopefully seems to be doing ok...Can someone please reflect on this, maybe da greedy analyst may have some input as he seems to be knowledgeable aboit the company and it"s shareholders.Let us hope for the best and see this company successful. We need good successful canadian stories .
