AVR, as I see it
AVR, as I see itAs a seasoned investor/trader , have learnt to expect the unexpected.
If gold goes up $30 tomorrow, I bet AVR has a nice kick in SP. Similarly, it could squish down if POG drops $30.
But, all true followers of AVR are not following POG right now. It comes down to AVR costs/ounce to extract the gold and ulitmately the EPS for their reporting quarter. Many, retail and institutional, were grossly disappointed with their last quarterly. Hence , the SP took a beating from 83 cents to around 43 cents. (a 50% haircut!) . That speaks volumes, don't ya think ?
AVR has a lot to prove with their NR this Thursday. Are they still bleeding red ink with ridiculous costs, or have they truly turned the corner and are now a full fledged, profitable junior miner with lots of blue sky potential in their continued drilling ? If it's the former, the stock will find its way back to the low 40s . If its the latter, I see AVR working its way to a market cap of at least $400M ($1 per share) . Continued positive drilling results and a strong POG this fall could see the SP actually quite a bit higher.
That's how I see it. :)
