voting for Eventhough I own a small number of AVF shares I will be voting for the merger.
1. the ER sale is done, get over with it. time to look ahead.
2. AVF O&G assets are not attractive at all, can't support a dividend on their own.
3. We gain PCE's asset base and CHX's Viking base creating production of scale which has a better chance of supporting a dividend.
4. They key here is to sell 1 or 2 non-core assets post-merger to bring the debt lower and we have a decent yield with good call option on NG prices.
