No emotion involved in this one.  This is a merger of convenience and a lifeline for one failing company that I would never consider investing in as a stand alone entity. 

A Pace / Avenex merger would be a consideration.  We can do better with a controlled liquidation of the assets - the market would appear to agree with this sentiment.
