I never bought or sold on the grey market myself but I have traded pink sheet stocks and actually did very well with it.  Buyers picking up stocks on the grey market or pink sheets are optimistic that the stock will actually recover and become listed on a regular exchange again. 

If IRON were to to picked up by another mine it may be done at a discount however your shares would then transfer to the new mine and you would be back in the running to come out of the investment either with a much lower loss, a break even or even a gain.  That process may take awhile but, depending on your view on it and your level of investment in the stock, it may be worth cosideration.

Considering everything going on with Iron Ore speculation at the moment it may be worthwhile toughing it out for a bit to see what develops.  We haven't seen this much speculation on the commodity in many years.

Hope that helps to some degree.  Calling your broker to discuss grey market trading is definately not a bad plan.
