This area was looked at in the 1970 s quite a bit and isn t a great producer with conventional wells. The data could be used by aee to locate shale witch at that time was worthless. Think what old logs could do if they showed 200 to 300 ft of shale or sandstone that was uneconomical without fracing tecknology. As to why aee fracing is contingent money? I think they are waiting for somebody else to prove the shale itself i have no time line on something like that but would also like to see aee take a lead in this. GL and i hope the article helps>
