RE: Positive OutlookWhile I do agree with the Rice-Red similarities from my study of the geology and historical diggings on BGE's Manitoba assets, and the potential of BGE especially with the War Baby and Apex (with their respective known reserves of copper and gold respectively), what does "pay-off" mean??? The stock is trading in the 30 penny range, which if you will recall, is the same as the 3/1 pre-roll back 10 penny range it was at for decades (i.e. the Mid-North Resources and Mid-North Uranium days of yore). True, a lot of money has been raised and spent on drilling, and Placer did advance the property's targets when some real explorationists were briefly in charge, but to have a fully staffed "friends and family" office and board of directors, in downtown Toronto where the livin' is easy, smacks of nepotism and greed; it has chased away real support that existed with some serious industry analysts and experts; and now it only remains to be seen if these wankers can stumble on a pot of gold, and most importantly recognize what they have when they do senendipitiously trip on it.
IMO, humble and meek as it is, BGE needs to trim management and board fat, put a shareholders' protection plan in place (which could be done for under $5,000 using a generic one from the internet; there are lots of examples; and it could then be ratified at the upcoming AGM), move the office from those expensive center-of-the-universe digs to a war-room trailor in Bissett, and explore, while simultaneously focussing its marketing efforts on getting some production deals for Apex and War Baby. IMO, that would yield "pay-off". Got any other ideas???, apart from calling up their offices and having someone reply "I'll just go get someone, they're all off in the relaxation area right now having their morning lattees and peddies and planning another next round of options".
I do wish that guy had been right about 5/21, then all those who bought into the BGE rally on Friday (me 2) wouldn't be waking tomorrow to the nothing-new-to-report hangover.
