And that's all for 2011?

And that's all for 2011?

Hope this does not prompt a rush of tax selling.  Had hoped for a little better news.

Bison Gold Resources Inc. Exploration Update: Drilling and Surface Work Discovers Additional Gold-bearing Structures on the Central Manitoba Property

Friday, December 09, 2011

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 9, 2011) - Bison Gold Resources Inc. ("Bison Gold" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BGE) is pleased to provide an update on results from drilling and surface work on the Ogama-Rockland trend from the company's Central Manitoba Property.

Recent channel cut sampling and surface mapping and prospecting on the Central Manitoba Property has identified several new gold-bearing structures south and west of the past-producing Ogama mine and Rockland shafts. Channel cut C-208, located 400 metres west of the Ogama mine shaft and 400 metres southeast of the Rockland shaft, cut 19.25 g/t Au over a channel width of 1.09 metres. "This represents a significant new surface discovery of a gold-bearing structure in the footwall to the Ogama zone," stated Lucas Ewart, President and CEO of Bison Gold. Additional significant results from the channel sampling program are tabulated below.

Diamond drill holes OG-11-16 through to OG-11-28 were designed to test near surface gold mineralization to a depth less than 40 metres discovered by Bison personnel this past summer and gold in soil geochemical anomalies. Drill holes OG-11-19 through OG-11-26 were a series of fence drill holes aimed at identifying multi-station (50 metre separation) Au-in-soil Mobile Metal Ion anomalies over a strike length of 100 metres. Drill holes OG-11-19 and OG-11-26 identified the source of the Au-in-soil anomaly with hole OG-11-19 intersecting 9.08 g/t Au over 1.22 metres and drill hole OG-11-24 approximately 50 metres along strike to the northwest intersecting 1.18 g/t Au over 0.80 metres. These intersections represent a new gold-bearing structure on the property that remains open to depth and along strike. The remaining holes testing the Au-in-soil anomalies intersected additional anomalous gold-bearing structures at different stratigraphic horizons that appear at this time to be localized. Significant results for holes OG-11-15 through OG-11-28 are tabulated below.

"To date, we have identified and outlined over a dozen additional near-surface gold-bearing structures within 1 km radius of the Ogama mine workings that will be drill-tested this fall and winter," stated Amir Mousavi, Vice President Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer, Bison Gold. "We are very pleased with the work that our technical personnel have accomplished to date in establishing the Ogama region as a very gold-endowed area and highly prospective for a number of potential gold economic resources." Bison is set to commence a major resource and exploration focused drilling program on the Central Manitoba Property in January, 2012.
