RE: RE: Barrick and Goldcorp
RE: RE: Barrick and Goldcorp I really think this post is the reason that management included the 65-90 million oz deposit potentual. Not out of a sense of sensationalism, but rather to keep share holders informaed of what they have. Clearly 10.6 million oz is more than enough to rocket share price. Any major looking at this will do so with a high degree of gelological due dilligence and will know of the massive overall potentual of the project. Gold Corp has something like 65MM oz in reserves. They are valued largely in part to the ounces they can prove they have in the ground. So theoretically speaking Gold Corp could buy BGM and double its market cap by having this project on the books and proving those other ounces up over the next five years. That would be something like $30 Billion Dollars. So when we are all excited to get our $6.00-10.00 per share, selling out for $600 million to $1Billon just know that the project proably still has 30 bagger potentual for the aquiring company.
