San Gold shareholders

As I interpret the notice on Sedar, Sprotts hold about 11% of the now worthless shares in San Gold. The signs of decay were clear enough to me some time ago so I sold while still ahead but I have lost money on the situation by virtue of also being a shareholder in one of Sprotts gold funds which presumably owned some San shares. I would expect Sprotts to afford better advice and to have the ability to detect technical blunders.
