I use the word 'despise' correctly in the face of your protestation... you have pointed out the reasons why investors should avoid this many, many, many times.  That suggests a pattern of harm rather than being a good samaritan.

Your comment on self selecting investing style... we all self select our investing styles sometimes with advisor input but in the end it is an individual choice.

...and finally, to answer your 1st question, I do not invest in anything witout the intention of making money... does not always happen right away or at all sometimes. Maybe one day we can all walk on Okanagan waters like you!!
