nat gas inventories out..as expected BIG withdrawls

according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decrease of 326 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 110 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 142 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,714 Bcf. At 2,856 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.

note: 5 year average withdrawl only 148 Bcf.thoughts?? dwdc

Considering the fridgid temperatures the last couple weeks in North America there better be a NG drawdown. Even the EIA gestimates (in their totally accurate weekly reports) could not state otherwise. The fact is NG remains over-abundant requardless of demand. Until producers are able to export via LNG to the Euro/Asian markets prices will remain constant, barring any well shut-ins reminiscent of ...more

Never buy a commodity stock for the dividend. Ever. Hope that lesson was learned. It will not "support" the stock when the commodity is down. It will not make any material difference to your total return when the commodity is running up. Ever. And it doesn't matter what the commodity is. Now, on the other hand, buybacks work. Eventually. So at the very least, the cut in the divy and ...more

Buy-backs (although positive) do not show up as cash in your trading accounts. They do support the share-price along with paying down debt, but idue to the ever cycling commodity prices lately, i prefer regular cash reminders in anticipation of a greater share price. Most large caps are doing all three (divs, debt and buybacks). ATH ( which has been berry berry good to me) with no debt are buying ...more
