confidence and SP What a difference a year makes relative to confidence and the ability to execute:
If Chris C had not misled- over promised bla, bla, bla I know, and had been up front on challenges many instituitional players would have stayed in this thing and worked through the challenges. Not selling on any bid that comes in the door.
less than a year later we have a technology that works according to a leading expert in the field, they just need 65mm to fully ramp up and own the canola protien global market
if the Sp was 2.00-2.50 today- they could have easily rasied the money and fully executed the original game plan. It should be that with what they have done here.
Instead were at .28 and they have to effectivly sell off much of the upside, principally because of a lack of confidence in how they messaged the story and challenges.
Even with all the good news of late, its a lack of confidence in their message and our collective questioning around the ability to strike a quality deal that prevents the stock from moving into the .50 range
there is certainly more value than what we see reflected in SP today, and I think a poential buyer will see that, the question is what premium will they pay for the opportunity.
a good lesson for all CEO,s just be upfront with shareholders they can take it.
lets hope the new CEO has learned well and as they say " We will Rapidly Accelerate" toward getting a deal done.
The sooner the better as far as I am concerned.
have a great weekend
