You are onto something there Seldom....here is my synopsis

I listened to the conference call that BXI held yesterday regarding their JV partnership. Although it is not a done deal, it looks to me promising. Firstly there is no more capital required of them to put a new 75,000 ton plant into Europe. There would be three partners, BXI, a strategic financial partner (maybe private money), and a partner that makes high quality canola oil. BXI would get some technology transfer payments at certain milestones which will keep there need for funding at zero..ie no equity issues. That is a good thing. And all parties would end up with a minority interest in the plant. This is sort of like a farm in…in the oil patch. A company owns land…another company puts all the money up to drill the oil well…and both companies share the production on a predetermined basis. BXI owns the patents and technology but doesn’t have to put up capital…and they will get a carried interest for say 30 or 40 percent. So ultimately fairly minor risk to them. If the plant makes this “ better protein”…there would clearly be more plants on the horizon. Based on 30% to BXI. The first plant could produce earnings of maybe 5 to 8 cents to BXI….which would put the stock at 80 cents to a buck in three years….Still need to finalize the deal but a good risk reward in my opinion…..
