If the earlier CCAA filings (15) are any indications, this will drag on until next year. Stay extensions are the norm as the Monitor, Lawyers, CRO, etc. Benefit from the constant delays. Their take far outweighs any benefit from the extensions but the Judges simply take the recommendations of the “at the trough” Monitor who is clearly in the loop. Until the Courts are willing to truly look after all other parties, this process will remain a joke.
