I wish I could find a silver lining, but I have to agree with your assessment. If Flinders ends up scooping up the property in the aftermath, I would have to agree with The Cardinal that that was Flinder's plan the whole time by slowing us down with the lure of a merger. Maybe Spiro wasn't the one being slow in the Flinders deal, but was being swindled by people who knew NRT was running out of time and wanted to game the clock (with a $500,000 penalty even if Spiro did get wise to it).
