~ I emailed investor relations and was told it was due to money manager divesting away from the Canadian energy space in the short term - the balance sheet for BNP is much better than it was 12 months ago - & even then after such positive financials it continued to decline. 

Just temporary until OPEC members start meeting production cuts. MEG & BTE were both about $3 higher than their curent value late December, so I see this as a sector wide decline for the time being, should pick up in the last 2 quarters of the year.
