RE:RE:Western Canada SelectYup - frustrating to see NG soaring in the US while AECO is being given away at a 60-70% discount. CDN energy policy is being affected by too many special interest groups...with some being funded by foreign interests (including the US whose main interest is to keep CDN from becoming a global competitor in energy).
BNP should be higher even with depressed AECO prices...tax loss selling and a general pessimism surrounding CDN energy companies is putting a ton of selling pressure on the stock. One day in the not too distant future this will dissipate. Hopefully NG prices do not come crashing down again before the selling pressure abates.
