Thanks for the info... giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming  your post is at leat 85%  factual and not just unfounded criticsm,  it leads to a number of observations.  For both miners and mill workers to be injured it indicates a site wide  lack of knowledge of modern safety standards.   If it was just the mill or just the mine ,  then it might just be one incompetant superintendent,  but it seems more endemic than that.    The problems in the assay office have been known about for at least 10 years,   funny that they are just seriously coming to light now.  I did see something on Linkedin recently  to suggest that the  mine manager  is a 28 year old kid who was originally hired as  an Engineer in Training.   You'd have to think the Mines Inspector  has a rather negative opinion on both his competancy and of Kocken's wisdom of putting him into a situation which is obviously over his head.    As for laying off the diamond drillers,  that actually is  the first good news Ive heard out of the Bralorne camp for years.    You do know that ABC  Drilling   who does the drilling is a private company owned by Kocken dont you??     Maybe the  cash can now be used to buy  structurally  sound raise ladders and hire competant supervision if site activities are to continue.

Requiem for a mine...  Evidently, the death knell has sounded for BPM. Sometime today, a crew of inspectors descended upon the facility and drove the final nail into the proverbial coffin.  Because none of the required safety measures had been dealt with, the operation was shut down entirely. No word on what's to come, but here's hoping you bailed out while you still could.  ...more
